NORSE: Oath of Blood – Viking Retribution [Review]

The Viking saga NORSE: Oath of Blood is here, and it’s primarily a bitter tale of revenge—fitting for the historical theme of the game. When I tried the demo, I came to like it, but it was clear to me that it needed a lot of polish and optimization. Did they succeed? Not quite, in any real sense to be totally honest. I was expecting a Viking X-com, but instead got a very linear experience with a heavy focus on narrative and cutscenes.

Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! – Demo Impressions

The eternal enemy of the human race is once again back to torment us. This time in the style of a chaotic retro shooter with a ton of gore—human and insect alike! Menace – Early Access Impressions

The early access release of Menace is here, and after giving it twenty sweaty coffee-infused hours like the nerd that I am—I’m ready to give my first early impressions. Sword Hero – Kickstarter Launch!

Today, the 27th of January, the Kickstarter for the Gothic-inspired RPG Sword Hero launches! It’s not out just yet, but soon. So this is a call to arms to everyone who wants to see this game become reality. Prepare yourself, lay down your mouse and grab your sword—it’s time for medieval limb-cutting battles in a PlayStation 1 retro-visual style!

I tried the demo back in September last year, and it took me by surprise, showing huge potential for the future. However, it was just an arena test that showcased the combat system, which was awesome—but it left me more than curious about how a real RPG would be in a system-heavy game like this. So please, let’s make it a real thing! You will find the Kickstarter link here!

Update:
Aaaaaand, it’s up! Make sure to check out the Kickstarter video too. Video after the click!
