Well met and welcome to my damp cave here on the internet!
I’m a 40+ old gaming enthusiast that got the idea that the world needs another blog. Disillusioned… perhaps? Regardless, it’s going to be fun to write!
The blog is dedicated to PC & VIDEO games. However, I reserve the right to write about whatever I want if it would come to that. My favorite genres are turn-based tactics, RPGs, and strategy games, but I’m willing to try and play most things if it triggers an interest in me.
I started to play games on my mom and dad’s Atari back in the day, and since then PC & video games have been a huge part of my life. I still remember the day when we got my brother’s old 386 PC. It wasn’t much, not even then, but being able to play titles like Wolfenstein 3D and Doom was something else. I mostly gamed on PC and Amiga back then, however, I have bought a few consoles during the years for exclusives. I have nothing against consoles, like many PC users, and in some genres, I prefer a controller over mouse and keyboard. I recognize that the popularity of consoles has dumbed down the industry, though, but that’s for another time. I don’t have much else to say – if you do have anything to ask or say, just leave a comment or send me an e-mail.
PS. I used to write in Swedish, that is why all the old stuff is in that language. Now making a return in 2022 – ‘the year of the nukes’ I decided to try my luck in English!
Also, I want to emphasize that I’m not a professional writer in any capacity. I’m here just to vent and muse about games, so there might be grammar and spelling mistakes. I do of course correct errors as much as I possibly can!
