ATOM RPG 2 – Kickstarter launched!

The boys at Atom Team are at it again, this time with a Kickstarter for ATOM RPG 2. The game looks to be turn-based still, with the same recognizable visual style as the other titles in the series—but with a few clear changes. A third-person camera seems to be an option now, and, of course, the damn driving! I approve.

I pledged 19 euros for the Caspian Wastelander tier. So now, the waiting begins for another RPG set in an apocalyptic world drenched in eastern flair. Check out the trailer below, and the Kickstarter page here!

Singularity – In Mother Russia, Time Clocks You [Review]

Welcome to Singularity, a game with serious time shenanigans, horrible mutants with a taste for human flesh, and masses of Soviet soldiers out to kill you—both futuristic and classic brown-shirted ones from the past. The plot isn’t overly complicated, but it’s a bit of a mess when you start to think about it, especially if you are sensitive to media tackling time travel. Hence, my inner conflict. See, I recognize it’s a well-made game (especially after the major 0.1 Save update), but my mind just constantly wanders off during play—hitting me with questions like: Am I wasting my time here?

NORSE: Oath of Blood – Viking Retribution [Review]

The Viking saga NORSE: Oath of Blood is here, and it’s primarily a bitter tale of revenge—fitting for the historical theme of the game. When I tried the demo, I came to like it, but it was clear to me that it needed a lot of polish and optimization. Did they succeed? Not quite, in any real sense to be totally honest. I was expecting a Viking X-com, but instead got a very linear experience with a heavy focus on narrative and cutscenes.
