Michal Kicinski on buying GOG

Last week or so, Michal Kicinski, one of the original founders of GOG, bought out GOG from CD Projekt Red—making it a private company under the ownership of one. It was still private under CD Projekt Red, but it operated under a public company, which comes with uncertainty. Especially, when GOG showed not to be a company that exactly earns a lot of money. Shareholders hate that, so, it was just a matter of time before CD Projekt Red decided to cut them loose—to sell it to a horrible company that would have turned GOG into an abomination of a store within a year.

We got lucky here, let’s just say that, yet things are still uncertain—what kind of plans does Michal Kicinski have for the company? Could he be the chosen one, or is he just another rich villain—grabbing something good to corrupt it in making a quick buck? Yep, time for another movie watch. So, let us travel to the Mojave in Fallout: Invasion Of New Vegas, which is a non-canonical fan-film by DINZHI that depicts the theoretical story continuation of an NCR victory in Fallout: New Vegas. The film doesn’t exactly have a clear protagonist to follow, as it’s more of a war movie, if the Brotherhood of Steel were to invade after the NCR takes the dam. It’s one brutal skirmish after another, with pretty entertaining battle scenes made in Blender and the Unreal 5 engine

SCP: First Contact [Film]

SCP: First Contact is by now a classic Machinima created by Evan Royalty, which has reached over 7 million views on YouTube. A most impressive achievement! As the title might allude, it’s a film set in the SCP universe—where we have a team of special operatives investigating a strange event in the Yukon territory. For you that have experienced SCP before knows that nothing good will come from this, beyond providing a tension filled horror flick, that is. It’s made in the Grand Theft Auto 5 engine, and what has been created here is nothing short of remarkable—from atmosphere, to story and voice acting. Take a look for yourself, down below (if you dare).
