Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy – IS OUT!

After about a year in Early Access on Steam following its successful Kickstarter campaign, Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy is finally out! I have invested a few hours into it, but it was a while back (about a year ago). I remember being entertained in a low-level RPG way, similar to Baldur’s Gate, which I just love. Funnily enough, this was said back then too, but I’m sticking with it! I don’t think much has changed in that regard, though—except that we have a full game on our hands now. So, it’s a pure Christmas joy, as I didn’t actually know it was this close to release, yet, here we are. Make sure to take a gander over at their Steam page, if you want a cozy, grounded adventure during the winter months. And the price is not too shabby, just a bit over twenty euros, making it a steal!

Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy [Early Access] is out!

Hurray, Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy is out! However, only in Early Access. It’s planned to stay in EA for about 1-1,5 years, so it’s unfortunately pretty far from being finished. What’s here already, is certainly top-tier, and plays into what I love about RPGs splendidly. Especially, if you are like me and enjoy the more low-key approach to adventuring: think early levels of the first Baldur’s Gate.

Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy is a go!

Oh yeah, baby! I’m a bit late to the party, but it seems the AtomTeam made it. Swordhaven is fully financed through Kickstarter with about 67 hours to go from the posting of this article. I noticed that they already managed to hit one stretch goal – a player base. Not sure how excited I am about that particular addition since most RPGs that have some kind of home usually feel a bit undercooked. However, I’m glad to see they are making a few more bucks on top of what they wanted. Now to see if they can reach the next stretch goal – Cursed City. Which I have to admit sounds much more enticing, maybe because I live in one in real life. Who knows? Anyway, I’m happy to see they made it. Now the eternal wait begins.

Aleksandrs Cernavskis [Atom Team] (Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy) – Interview

Welcome to an interview with Aleksandrs Cernavskis, the writer and combat designer for the developer team Atom Team. Aleksandrs and the rest of the Atom Team are currently running a Kickstarter for their upcoming low-fantasy RPG Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy. However, these guys are not some random rookies concerning making games. In their portfolio, you will find the well-liked and popular isometric Fallout-inspired RPGs: ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game and ATOM RPG Trudograd.

The Swordhaven Kickstarter has launched!

The Kickstarter for the upcoming low-key Baldur’s Gate I-inspired RPG Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy has launched. I backed it for 15 euros, which grants me a digital key for the game when it comes out, but not much else. The Kickstarter is at this moment around 19% complete. To me it looks like they will make it, however, I’m not a Kickstarter expert. I sure as hell hope they do make it because I tested the demo that you can find on their Steam page, and it’s good. It’s very charming and plays superbly into the low-level adventure feel.
