Echoes of the Living – Early Access Impressions

Let’s just start by saying: Wow, what a conflicting experience Echoes of the Living has been. While the devs (a couple) behind the game really poured everything they’ve got into the game, and succeeded going by classic survival horror standards—I can’t help but feel a peculiar tedium wash over me after giving it eight hours. Hence, my inner conflict. See, I recognize it’s a well-made game (especially after the major 0.1 Save update), but my mind just constantly wanders off during play—hitting me with questions like: Am I wasting my time here?

Vultures: Scavengers of Death – Demo Impressions

Turn-based gameplay in a classic setting of survival horror—now that’s an unusual twist. I’m glad to report that Vultures: Scavengers of Death makes it work splendidly. So, prepare yourself to dodge, headshot zombies, look for loot, and read final messages of bite victims’, but all in a turn-based manner from a top-down view.

Resident Evil: Requiem – Evil Has Always Had A Name [Short movie]

Some interesting PR has been delivered! Evil Has Always Had A Name is a short film set in the Resident Evil universe to promote the latest game in the series: Requiem. Fallout: Invasion Of New Vegas [Film]

Yep, time for another movie watch. So, let us travel to the Mojave in Fallout: Invasion Of New Vegas, which is a non-canonical fan-film by DINZHI that depicts the theoretical story continuation of an NCR victory in Fallout: New Vegas. The film doesn’t exactly have a clear protagonist to follow, as it’s more of a war movie, if the Brotherhood of Steel were to invade after the NCR takes the dam. It’s one brutal skirmish after another, with pretty entertaining battle scenes made in Blender and the Unreal 5 engine

Echoes of the Living is out in Early Access!

The survival horror Echoes of the Living is finally out in Early Access! EA, you might sigh, but to be fair, it’s a different kind of EA, as the game is apparently complete. At least one campaign is, while the second one still needs some more work on. This is according to the developers, anyway. It just seems to me that there might be a few issues with the game, as a string of patches has been released since it came out. Maybe not everything is hunky-dory—so a tiny warning.

Beyond this, the game looks excellent, and it comes with an opening discount that lasts until the tenth of November. It rests at a respectable 81% approval rate currently, which is pretty good. Down below, you will find the latest trailer!
