[Arma 3 mod] Battle of Norway – Operation Weserübung

I have recently been getting into Arma 3 again, playing the APEX expansion with a friend (impressions coming soon!). While being fun, what truly caught my eye is the amount of single-player/cooperative campaigns out there on STEAM workshop. And one of those campaigns is the World War 2-themed Battle of Norway – Operation Weserübung. It takes place during the invasion of Norway, and you get to play as a German paratrooper equipped (well, at least from the start) with an MP40 and if you are lucky a few stick grenades.

So what has happened since 2012?

Plenty of stuff, but at the same time not too much. Games are the same almost on a genre level, but there have been some notable things that happened to the industry.

Political correctness / wokeness is a big one. Games (not only games, though) have been suffering from insufferable political correctness for the last couple of years. So now we have World War II shooters with mixed-race battalions, women on the front line with prosthetics, etc. It has been an absurd ride, but thankfully it’s mostly regulated to AAA gaming. Efter sju mycket svåra år…

Vi börjar närma oss tredje världskriget, så jag tänkte; dags att börja skriva här igen! Med andra ord så är jag är tillbaka. Förvänta er ett halvtaskigt inlägg var fjärde månad eller något sådant om något obskyrt och antagligen tråkigt spel!

Ps. Jag tänkte eftersom världen är mer internationell nu så kanske man borde skriva lite på engelska. Också för att jag blivit alldeles för amerikaniserad på senaste då jag glömt halva svenska språket.
