Star Wars: Republic Commando – Are you clone enough?

Welcome to the Republic soldier! It seems your clone is a step above the rest. Don’t ask me to explain it, considering you are all clones of the same guy, but anyway. You will be part of Delta Squad. A super heavy commando unit, equipped for anything, both mentally, and equipment-wise. So, suit up and join the rest of your team! If you always wanted to terminate droids and Trandoshans with extreme prejudice, install Star Wars: Republic Commando now, because this is what you will be doing for the next ten hours – in fairly entertaining ways, must be added.

Stargate: Adventure – The Grey Vikings

To say that I understand the Stargate lore from the TV show is to highly overestimate my knowledge of this piece of fiction, especially after playing Stargate: Adventure made by Sektor 13. However, I do know the general gist of things, and I like the character Jack O’Neill (much because of the MacGyver days). The problem here, while the game feels very authentic to the source material, is that it drops you smack down in the middle (or maybe the ending of things?) – which makes lore newbies like me feel pretty out of place. However, I manage to find Star Wars – Episode III – Revenge of the Sith for the PlayStation 2. It’s a direct tie-in game to the movie that goes under the same name. It was with a certain hesitation that I downloaded it as we know all too well how these kinds of titles end up. But hey, what do I get to lose, anyway? Well, as it turns out only valuable gaming time, taking me one step closer to death with nothing gained. I should have trusted the force when it told me something dark awaited me.

Chameleon – Forgotten Stealth

Chameleon is a stealth action game made by the guys behind Hidden & DangerousMafia, and the Vietcong franchise. They were known as Illusion Softworks, and like many game developers from the past, they are no more. The thing that makes Chameleon interesting is that it was only released in Eastern Europe since it didn’t see proper publishing in the West. However, thanks to Internet magic it is now playable for us Westerners. Somewhat.
