I appreciate the honest take on the balance quirks—enemy durability vs. player fragility is always a tricky line to walk in these X-com-like games. Out of curiosity, how does the game handle unit progression or squad customization? Those are often make-or-break elements for me in this genre.

    1. The units do get XP, both for combat and work in the camp. They also have stats, so there are perks and stats to increase. The perk structure is unique for the different classes, but I did notice that there is some overlap. On customization, it does not seem there is a way to change names and such. Otherwise, you can give them uniforms you find and get, and whatever weapon you think suits them. But yeah, the soldiers you recruit are pre-made.
