I have been a bit busy lately which is why the posts have been slow going. The reason for that is that my landlord is currently renovating my apartment, and due to misunderstandings, it got very chaotic. Everything is settled now though. I’m in my temporary replacement apartment, and the most important things are with me – namely the computer and Internet access.
I have been playing two games (Largo Winch – Empire Under Threat & Assassin’s Creed Mirage) casually, which I’m hoping to complete and write a review for eventually. Largo Winch is an old PS2 game that is a typical adventure game with JRPG turn-based combat. I wouldn’t say it’s anything too special, but it’s entertaining enough to warrant a completion.
The new Assassin’s Creed is a throwback to how this franchise used to be gameplay-wise when assassination was actually a thing. I’m not very far into it, but I’m enjoying it. It’s not a 100% copy of the old games, as the combat feels a bit different and a bit more floaty. However, it works and is a lot better than the bloated RPG combat that started in Assassin’s Creed Origins. So, something to look forward to, dear reader.
