Watch Dogs: Bad Blood [DLC] – Chicago Forever

You can leave Chicago, but Chicago never leaves you. In the DLC Bad Blood, you get more of Watch Dogs in every single way, but without Aiden Pearce as the protagonist. More of the same isn’t necessarily a bad thing – if you enjoy the gameplay and story, that is. So how does it fare, is it a worthwhile purchase and time investment? Well, let’s find out.

The Thaumaturge – Rasputin Forever

It’s time to travel back to early nineteenth-century occupied Warsaw – specifically to a weird alternative version of our timeline where demonology is an actual thing. An interesting thing about The Thaumaturge is that it’s listed as an RPG. Majesty 2: Battles of Ardania – Grind Maker

It seems I have played the expansions in the wrong order, as Majesty 2: Battles of Ardania came out before Monster Kingdom. It was actually Majesty 2: Kingmaker that introduced the monster faction, which is the first of the expansions. Desperados III – I want to like you

Boy, I have tried to like this game, but the more I try, the more it pushes me away. Everything in Desperados III except the gameplay design is fantastic – from the visuals and animations to the sound and music. Those aspects are just chef’s kiss, but the gameplay is the antithesis of what I enjoy when gaming. The water to the oil, so to say.

Majesty 2: Monster Kingdom – Humies Must Die!

Monster Kingdom is a continuation of the Majesty 2 storyline, and all is not well. You would think it would be, considering the King and his posse of heroes single-handedly saved Ardania from daemons and other foul human-eating creatures. But as things go, no good deed goes unpunished, and now you must reclaim the throne, with some seriously questionable help. All in all, it’s more Majesty 2, but with one major difference in flavor, as you play the monsters this time around.
