I’m a few days late to the party, but here we finally have gameplay for the upcoming RPG The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. Now, I’m not entirely convinced it contains enough gameplay to technically qualify as one, yet what little is shown is pretty darn good. It looks like the modern Mass Effect game that we never got, but we all yearned for. The only thing that earned a strong dislike from me is the floating health bars, so I really hope they make an option to turn that off.
Overall, it’s looking very intriguing, essentially what I want from a pop-a-mole in space. Not to forget, the Expanse universe is an excellent space opera setting that is similar to the universe of Mass Effect (in tone), so the devs have plenty of cool stuff to pick from.
