Yep, time for another movie watch. So, let us travel to the Mojave in Fallout: Invasion Of New Vegas, which is a non-canonical fan-film by DINZHI that depicts the theoretical story continuation of an NCR victory in Fallout: New Vegas. The film doesn’t exactly have a clear protagonist to follow, as it’s more of a war movie, if the Brotherhood of Steel were to invade after the NCR takes the dam. It’s one brutal skirmish after another, with pretty entertaining battle scenes made in Blender and the Unreal 5 engine.
My favorite scenes were the actual opening, which showed what I assume is Shady Sands—how it illustrates that civilization is coming back to the wasteland. This is of course implied in Fallout: New Vegas, regardless of the state of their military in the game. You don’t run a huge republic like the NCR without having a functional civilization backing you. I recommend giving it a watch, if you enjoy Fallout and its lore—after the jump!
I’m, however, a bit more skeptical over BoS, and the Enclave—how they still have the manpower to operate at that scale. The damn massive airship might be a bit much, just like how I felt when Prydwen was introduced in Fallout 4. And now they have two of those! But yeah, the faction power consistency is all over the place in canon, too—so I’m not surprised to see it spill over here.
