Stygian Software released a pretty hefty video from their upcoming sewer crawling apocalyptic RPG Underrail 2: Infusion the other day. And I thought I would share it here, because it is certainly something to keep an eye on. Beyond the cool & soothing isometric camera angle, the environments, and the lighting, it looks great. A solid upgrade from Underrail.
Most of the gameplay style of Underrail seems to remain, which is a good thing. However, I would have preferred making it party-based, but keeping it solo works for me too. The main two take-away from the video, is for me that every armor and weapon are modeled now. And the environments look way more detailed and realistic. The atmosphere in combination with the ambient music is as atmospheric as always. I have a feeling tension will run high when exploring the dark man-made caverns of a past civilization. Who knows what’s out there, waiting to make a snack out of you!
