Fallout – The Revenant Series [Machinima]

If you are ever in the mood to watch something Fallout, in the Fallout: New Vegas & Fallout 4 engine, I have a trilogy for you. Now, these films are not the best from a technical level. The scenes are not the greatest, and the animations are questionable at best. However, the three movies are a very charming watch and contain a suitable amount of cheese and humor. The creator PulsarFusion did a good job writing the plot line for these three movies, which also respects the already established lore. You can say, these films are somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine.

Fallout – Revenant
It’s time for the first film in the trilogy. Revenant is probably the roughest of a bunch, but it establishes all the characters, and sets the stake for the story.

The Caesar legion officer is something else in this episode. I’m glad he died, though, because I think if he was made a more permanent resident of the show, it would have made his insane ramblings annoying to listen to over the three films. Becky and Meanie are easily the highlight.

Fallout – Evasion
Becky has now grown up to be a versatile wasteland survivor herself. Life seems good, as she spends her days adventuring with her mutant friends and getting into fun apocalyptic shenanigans. But that wouldn’t make the story particularly interesting, so you know bad stuff is coming her way.

One part I enjoyed with Evasion is the tale of the NCR officer that fell out with NCR after the bunker incident in Revenant. Seems his life and career didn’t turn out to be that prosperous, yet, it’s somewhat understandable what happened to him. It was a major failure on his part.

Fallout – Holy War
Holy War is the final movie in the trilogy that ties it all up. This film also had an upgrade in the form of an engine change, going from the New Vegas engine to Fallout 4. Lots of factions, and characters from the show are about to either fail, get what’s coming to them, or finally succeed to live happily ever after.

It’s a nice closing episode, but what I find sad is that the creator never made any more machinimas in this style. I would have liked to see more wacky adventures in the apocalyptic wasteland, but it apparently was not to be. That was all from me this time, just a bit of nostalgia. Until next time!
