It’s once again time for everyone’s favorite – gaming music! Let’s start with some good old depressive wasteland music from The Walking Dead.
Perfect slow-moving moody music for the gray days during the apocalypse. Soon to become real, who knows? At least we got the soundtrack for it!
X-com, once again. This time it’s X-com Apocalypse with Dawn over Barrier Walls. A real emotional piece that perfectly sets the tone for upcoming the fight with the alien invaders.
Yes, we are that kind of state today. It’s an melancholic day.
Now for a classic, however, still maintaining the mood we have set. It’s Diablo with the tune of Tristram Village.
I’m not a lover of action RPGs, not even back then when it was released, yet this song has etched itself into my mind. It’s just great and fits the sanctuary of Tristram.
To continue with the theme we have set up for ourselves, why not have some chill music from Dark Souls II with the tune Majula? Our oasis in the middle of all the death and carnage, a perfect spot for rest and contemplation.
The melody works both in-game and outside, a good tune to relax to, and to consider your life choices.
That’s all of the melancholic songs for this time. But we will see each other soon again.
